Canadian Tire has erected a Christmas tree in Toronto’s Union Station that monitors keywords in tweets, blogs and news articles to measure the social mood and Spirit of Christmas. Based on the chatter the 3,000 lights on the 30 foot tree illuminate and create a light show illuminating the Christmas mood and spirit around the world. Pretty cool.
